Our 2nd Annual Chili Cook-Off took place on Friday October 30th. The competition included 10 chili varieties, including two white chicken chili options. The rules are simple…taste each chili and vote for your top three choices.  When all votes were tallied, entry #1 won by a landslide! Congratulations to our winner, Melanie!

Melanie was presented with the coveted Carpenter Marty Chili Cook-Off trophy to be displayed at her desk for the next year.  Her recipe received 10 first place votes!  Coming in 2nd place was last year’s winner, Drew.  We still give him a hard time about bringing his father-in-law’s leftovers last year, but this year he promised that he made his own and he was still able to take 2nd place with 3 first place votes.  Rounding out our top three was Kristine with a Mediterranean style chick pea chili.

All entries were fantastic.  Who will take the trophy next year?
