On Saturday, Carpenter Marty Transportation employees and their families completed 2014’s final Adopt-A-Highway pick up.  We had the largest group of volunteers for this pick up which was great because we had the largest amount of garbage collected.  In total, we collected over 25 bags of garbage along our two mile stretch of U.S. 33.

Thank you to all of our volunteers!  We would also like to thank the gentleman that provided our group with coffee during our pick up.  This kind man went to Tim Horton’s and purchased coffee for our volunteers after seeing us picking up along his drive.  We truly appreciated the warm up that morning and want to send a special thank you out to him.
