The City of Westerville selected Carpenter Marty Transportation to provide engineering design services for the complete replacement of all roadways and existing utilities within this original Westerville subdivision, originally platted in 1909. Additionally, the project included construction of new underground utilities, new sanitary sewer system design, and utility relocation where necessary to avoid conflicts with the new roadway profile. The design followed a complete street design and added sidewalk facilities throughout the neighborhood. Carpenter Marty Transportation was responsible for all surveying services, coordination with utility companies, roadway design, and design of ADA-compliant sidewalks and curb ramps. The sidewalk design required several retaining walls to prevent additional right-of-way being taken from adjacent property owners.
