US 460 Signing Inventory & Renovation -

This project involves the study, design, and preparation of construction contract plans and related documents for the renovation of all regulatory, warning, and guide signs on US Route 460 in Mercer County, West Virginia. The project limits are from Virginia State Line to Virginia State Line. This sign renovation project shall also include all signs within the limits of all interchanges/intersection lead-in signing. All signs leading to the project limits from Virginia are also included in this project. The entire length of the project along US 460 is approximately 27 miles. There are approximately 35 interchanges/intersections along the proposed project length. CM will provide the following services for this project:

Inventory of existing signs and supports, and locations of pertinent features
Obtain existing right‐of‐way information for the project
Determine the disposition of existing signing and supports
Prepare plans depicting proposed sign and existing signs to remain
Utility coordination (only if a new overhead sign)
Arrange sign lighting power service meeting with power company
Prepare plans containing all final signing and related documents for the project
